Who We Are:

Premier embedded avionics R&D organization supporting both sustaining engineering and modernization programs across multiple avionics platforms.

Objectives of this Role:

• Work as part of a technical leadership team to guide activities on various projects related to maintenance, logistics, and other supportability concerns
• Provide analysis guided by experience with hands-on maintenance activities
• Provide communications backbone between technical team and government maintenance and logistics staff

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for avionics maintenance operational activities
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft and perform operational systems analysis
• Troubleshoot and repair aircraft harness and maintenance systems in coordination with engineering
• Systems diagnosis includes both avionics and weapons systems
• Apply technical leadership and expertise of wire repair requirements including soldering and crimp
• Apply in-depth understandings of Technical Orders and Engineering drawings in support of the aircraft repairs

Requirements:

• AA or BS in EE Tech or Aeronautics preferred
• 25 years: normally 25 years without a degree to include 10-15 years of professional level experience in maintenance of avionics systems and associated support equipment
• Work history must include 10 years of professional level experience in Management of aircraft maintenance and logistics activities
• Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to operate test equipment, multi-meters, etc.
• Experience supporting the development and review of Air Force Technical Orders.
• A valid/clear driver's license is required
