Job Summary:

Join the Spacecraft Integration and Test section in the Spacecraft Development directorate. Key responsibilities will be to execute electrical test procedures on space flight hardware and instruments including board level check-out, assembly testing and Spacecraft integrated testing under Engineering or Engineering Technologist direction. Other activities including Ground Support Equipment development and check-out and Mechanical assembly support, generation of test procedures and test reports, and overall I&T support


Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of electronics, electrical, or electrical-mechanical experience. Any knowledge, courses, or AS degree in Basic electronics and electrical theory, mechanical theory, digital theory, safety, microcomputers, test equipment, or troubleshooting techniques is preferred. Familiarity with computer systems and standard office software is required. Basic electronics knowledge and interest in electronics is required. Ability to follow directions is required. Ability to work independently and in a large team is required. Must be enthusiastic about working on Space electronics. Electrical or electro-mechanical trade experience is required. Shift work required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
