Who We Are:

Join an independent R&D company as a skilled technician to assemble, maintain, and repair electrical cabinets and experimental electronics equipment to aide in solving national security problems. By joining our team, you will received an additional $500.00 in your first paycheck (minus applicable taxes).

Objectives of this Role:

• Work on a variety of projects and/or current challenges to support the lifecycle of instrumentation electrical cabinets.
• Build instrumentation electrical control cabinets.
• Troubleshoot existing electrical control cabinets and equipment.
• Assemble cables.
• Work independently and in team environments.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Build custom electrical cabinets by punching holes in cabinets, mounting power supplies, PLC equipment, relays and other DIN mounted devices.
• Wire all devices following a wiring diagram.
• Construct custom cables.
• Install custom electrical cabinets and connect to experimental equipment.
• Complete assigned tasks and work on multiple tasks in parallel.

Requirements:

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Associates in Electronics or Related Technician certification/degree is preferred
• 0-2 years: Experience reading wiring diagrams; must be able to be trained on wiring diagrams
• 0-2 years: Experience troubleshooting and testing electrical cabinets; must have a desire to learn if no experience
• 0-2 years: Soldering skills or ability to be trained
• Must be able to collaborate and work well in a team
• A valid/clear driver's license is required
