RESEARCH ENGINEER - ANALOG SYSTEMS

Objectives of this Role:

• As an analog and motors system Engineer, you will work on hardware development designing, implementing, and testing analog circuits, power systems, and motor designs.
• Work on 3-phase motors, filters, and other low to medium AC voltage systems.
• Work independently and collaborate in project-team environments.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Work on a variety of projects and current challenges in designing, building, debugging, and implementing analog circuits, motors, power systems, and supporting systems.
• Interface with other engineers, technicians, and project managers to ensure requirements of the system are successfully achieved in a timely manner.
• Work with electrical schematics to develop hardware.
• Work rapidly and professionally as we perform agile applied engineering ending in prototype systems that are often one-of-a-kind.

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelors with a 3.00 GPA in Electrical Engineering, Government security clearance required
• 2-5 years: Knowledge of software and hardware development processes including an ability to analyze and translate complex technical requirements into an application design, implementation, unit, and integration testing
• Knowledge of AC power systems, analog circuits, or 3-phase motors
• Experience with MATLAB, P-Spice, and Multisim; or the ability to be trained on software
• A valid/clear driver's license is required
