RESEARCH COMPUTER SCIENTIST - RESEARCH ENGINEER - EMBEDDED SOFTWARE

Objectives of this Role:

• Quickly provide customers with computational and electrical solutions to their unique challenges that successfully impact their missions
• Play a role in maintaining national security
• After hours and travel may be required at times to meet client needs

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Develop embedded software applications for various electronic platforms
• Develop front-end and back-end web based applications to command and control unmanned systems
• Perform static and dynamic code analysis in order to optimize software control models
• Write white papers proposing novel solutions to existing or upcoming problems
• Literature searches and researching the latest tools and technologies that could be applied to new or existing problems

Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelors or Masters with a 3.00 GPA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
• 2-4 years: Multithreaded application development, object-oriented programming, and algorithm development
• Experience with C or C++, Python, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with UI development, API development, embedded development, and hardware communication protocols. Experienced in writing drivers for various embedded hardware modules, debugging embedded applications and hardware, and developing RTOS applications
• A valid/clear driver's license is required
